Virtual-First Policy

Virtual-First Practice

The Law Office of Zak Fisher operates as a virtual-first practice. Consultations, document signing, file management, and case communication all happen remotely.

Why virtual-first

Because modern tools open up real ways to serve clients well. A tenant working two jobs can have a face-to-face strategy session with their attorney over lunch. A client in the Valley doesn’t lose a workday parking and waiting. Court documents arrive instantly through secure file sharing. Retainers sign in under a minute. Encrypted communication keeps case strategy private and frictionless.

The result is more hours on the case, broader reach across Los Angeles County, and a practice built around how people actually live.

How it works

  • Consultations: Zoom or phone. Free 20 minutes for eviction defense, free 20 minutes for criminal defense, free 15 minutes for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Paid 30- and 60-minute options for other tenant matters.
  • Retainer signing: electronic signature.
  • Document exchange: secure client portal and encrypted email.
  • Case communication: phone, email, and Zoom on a schedule that works for you.
  • Face-to-face time: as much as you want, over Zoom video.
