Attorney Biography

Zak Fisher is a licensed California attorney providing Californians with high-quality legal services and representation at affordable rates. He has appeared in courts all across Los Angeles County, Orange County, and Riverside County. 

In January 2021, Mr. Fisher established his solo practice as a member of the seventh cohort of the Los Angeles Incubator Consortium, a network of solo attorneys committed to serving low and moderate means clients throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area.

Since then, Mr. Fisher has advised or represented thousands of tenants, defendants, and clients in civil cases (including unlawful detainer) and criminal cases in cases in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and Riverside County. Mr. Fisher has achieved successful outcomes for his clients in motion practice, bench trials, jury trials, and pre-trial settlement conferences. 

In 2016, Mr. Fisher graduated summa cum laude from Middlebury College with a major in Political Science and a minor in Music. Mr. Fisher is licensed to practice law in New Hampshire in addition to California, and Mr. Fisher is also federally barred in the United States District Court – Central District.

Mr. Fisher is proud to have been raised in a union household, and he is committed to fighting for working people and all people facing systemic marginalization and oppression at the hands of powerful, entrenched interests. He has faced eviction before and personally understands what it is like to experience uninhabitable conditions and landlord abuse. Mr. Fisher does not and will not represent landlords.

Mr. Fisher believes that modern American policing is an active and urgent threat to the safety and prosperity of our community, and he is committed to fighting against police violence, abuse, and impunity through all available legal means.
